Why DOT exists

A DOT IS THE
SMALLEST CONNECTION

“DOT Project is where your curiosity connects to the world’s most unsolved problems, and you become the bridge.” Mohammed Kabeer, Founder

  1. 01 / Why

We start with problems, not solutions.

Before any app, machine or business plan, DOT students go out and look. They observe real people and name the problems nobody is naming yet.

  2. 02 / What

We turn curiosity into something tangible.

A single observation becomes a question, then a set of connected ideas: who it affects, why it happens, what could change it.

  3. 03 / How

    We learn by building.

Every session ends in something you can show: a pitch, a prototype, a brand or an AI app. The network of ideas becomes a structure you can test.

The device story

HOW ONE DEVICE
CHANGED EVERYTHING

Scroll to travel through seven objects. Each one changed how people record, share and understand knowledge.

01Clay tablet Record

We learned to record.

Knowledge existed, but it was hard to keep and harder to share. Pressing marks into clay let an idea outlive the person who had it.

DOT LensWhat problem are we actually solving?

02Printing press Reproduce

We learned to reproduce.

Movable type turned one copy into thousands. For the first time, one idea could reach many people.

DOT LensWho gets access?

03Radio Broadcast

Knowledge learned to travel.

Information stopped standing still. A voice in one room could be heard in a million homes at once.

DOT LensWhat happens when distance disappears?

04Television Visualise

Then it learned to be seen.

Moving pictures entered the living room. Seeing replaced imagining, and the screen became the window to the world.

DOT LensWhat changes when everyone sees the same thing?

05Personal computer Interact

We stopped just receiving. We started interacting.

The screen answered back. People could write, calculate, design and create, not just watch.

DOT LensHow should people interact with information?

06Smartphone Access

Knowledge left the desk.

It moved from a place to a person. Every answer now fits in a pocket, and the questions got harder.

DOT LensWhat happens when information is always available?

07DOT Understand

From recording to understanding.

Clay, paper, ink, sound, pixels, code and data all lead here. When knowledge can respond, the scarce skill is finding the problem worth solving.

DOT LensWhat problem will you solve?

The DOT Method

SIX STAGES.
ONE JOURNEY.

Every DOT program teaches one stage of the same journey. Start where you are.

  1. 01

    Observe

    See what others walk past.

  2. 02

    Question

Ask who it is for and who it affects.

  3. 03

    Think

Turn a problem into an opportunity.

  4. 04

    Design

Give the idea a shape and a voice.

  5. 05

    Build

    Make something people can use.

  6. 06

    Pitch

Convince the people who can back it.

Questions

GOOD TO
KNOW

Who are the sessions for?

Schools, colleges, universities, E-Cells, innovation cells, student clubs and incubators. Programs are shaped for school students, undergraduates and young founders.

Can I join as an individual?

Yes. If you are not part of an institution that runs DOT, use Apply Now to sign up and we will let you know about sessions you can join.

How do we bring DOT to our campus?

Use Request a Quote with your institution, audience and preferred dates, or message us on WhatsApp. We will suggest the right session or build a custom program, with a quotation.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. Most sessions run in person on campus, and every program can also be delivered online.

How long is a session?

Usually 2 to 3 hours, with live Q&A. Longer workshops and multi-session programs are available on request.

What do students leave with?

Something they can show: a problem statement, a pitch, a prototype, a brand or an AI app, depending on the session.

Can the program be customised?

Yes. We adapt the content, depth and format to your students, your goals and the time you have.

How much does a program cost?

There is no fixed price list. Institutions request a quote with their students, program and dates, and the DOT team replies with a quotation.

What is the DOT App?

A new way to learn, connect and build with DOT, launching in 2027. It is not available yet. Selected users will receive early access.

WHAT PROBLEM WILL YOU SOLVE?

Bring DOT to your school, college or E-Cell, or apply for a program yourself.
